Highland Inn New Cumberland

I left a review on here a couple months ago but apparently it didn’t save. This place is off the chain!! 10 stars and I definitely will be back again! Super nice front desk staff(Abby), rooms are very clean, fast WiFi, bed slept great and lots of TV channels. I’ve stayed here four(4) times and everything is great every time! I will always stay here whenever I’m in town!

Stayed here for Hersheypark, is in a great area and beautiful location with fireflies all around. The person checking us in was lovely and provided all the information, and the check in experience was smooth. The room was slightly dirty with a dead bug noticeably hanging from a curtain but otherwise the room was nice and quiet too. Would stay again if in the area. Thank you!

Stayed in room 125. Was so impressed. Clean, updated, and bed very comfortable. A steal for the price. Can't remember the girls name at the desk but very friendly and accommodating. Great value. Stay here you won't be disappointed

The room was clean and comfortable, and the lady at the front desk was friendly and informative! The air conditioning unit is pretty loud but worked for us as a nice white noise machine for the kids to sleep to. We weren’t sure what we were getting into when we drove up but ended up having a very pleasant one-night stay. For the price we paid, we would stay again.

Room was clean and didn't have that musky smell some other motels seem to get. The bed was comfy and clean. The bathroom was nice. It had a great shower but the fan in the bathroom was very loud and turned on with the light. The door also didn't close all the way but it closed enough for me. My unit had baseboard heating with a knob on the wall and a window AC unit. The heat worked well but seems to heat the room up too much no matter what the thermostat was set to. This wasn't really an issue as once it was warm in the room it stayed warm for a good while. The front desk staff seemed no-nonsense but was friendly and professional. Something to keep in mind is that the front desk closes at midnight. You honestly get better than what you are paying, you seriously can't beat the price. It's the cheapest place I've stayed but doesn't come close to the worst. Everything worked in the room(Except the bathroom door) and it was clean.

Just what I needed for my 3 days 2 nights stay. I drove a long distance, and was all tired and anxious upon arrival. But the gentleman at the front desk ( An African American man) was so welcoming and took all my anxiety away. There is nothing like a good welcome!! He gave me a fresh bottle of water. The room was clean. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, TV, AC, comfortable bed, Good water pressure in the shower shower etc. For that price! I honestly think it was more than enough... Thank you

Well kept and friendly staff. ive stayed in many of the rooms over the course of 2 or 3 years and I have never had a bad experience. Abby has always been nice and willing to do what she can for people that are respectful. I recommend staying here. While the highway may be too noisy for some, it's secluded back in the woods and you don't have to worry about your property being disturbed during your stay. Rooms are well kept and clean. Beds are comfy and have clean sheets. It's a nice place to stay that won't break the bank. Microwaves, wifi, hot shower and a bed. Everything a hotel should be! To those writing bad reviews, maybe take a second to see what you may have done to contribute to having a bad experience!
